Frozen Cry

Una obra maestra. ('A masterpiece.')

Dave Bonta of Moving Poems

Lilián participates as poet and actor in the poetry film Llanto congelado ('Frozen Cry'), directed by Charles Olsen. They filmed it in Almenara and have written about the piece in the article La videopoesía se abre paso con nuevas sensibilidades en Colombia (in Spanish) in WMagazín, where Lilián comments:

"Charles saw me sitting quietly, he saw my face, it was a sad face as my mother was ill. He appreciated the essence of the moment and decided to film. It flowed on its own as did our previous film in Almenara, Cuerpos de agua ('Water Bodies'). Its a place where I flow. A few days later my mother died. It became part of the mourning process, of healing, of pardon, of my own vulnerability, recognising my pain. Llanto congelado is my most personal poem."

It was born deep in my heart, like a living impulse, like an arrow shot into emptiness.
