Agita Flamenco

This poetry recital with flamenco piano and dance was presented in the New Zealand pavilion in the Venice Art Biennial in 2011, and in the Sala Manuel de Falla of the General Society of Authors (SGAE) in Madrid in 2012.

The poets Charles Olsen and Lilián Pallares, and flamenco pianist Pablo Rubén Maldonado made the short travel-documentary of their trip to Venice, which you can see below.

For the presentation in Madrid, they were joined by the flamenco dancer Selene Muñoz and the stage director Louis Vhanguirald.

Poem Me acuso interpreted by Lilián Pallares, Selene Muñoz and Pablo Rubén Maldonado
